Who We Are

Cedarcrest is a specialized pediatric medical facility and school providing comprehensive services to children with complex medical and developmental needs. It is the only center of pediatric post-acute care providers in New Hampshire.

Our Mission

Cedarcrest enriches the lives of children and young adults with complex medical and developmental needs, supports their families, and collaborates with other community providers to build a continuum of care.

Our Care Profile

Ages Served: At Cedarcrest we provide medical services for children from infants through age 22, and school services for children from three to 22 years of age.

Capacity: We can serve up to 27 children as residents and 23 as students in Cedarcrest School at any one time. In addition, the organization serves children living in the community through day education and outreach therapy services in area schools.

Staffing: A staff of more than 100 individuals provides around-the-clock care and services to the children. Nearly two-thirds of the staff are full-time.

Physician Services: Dr. Kathleen Collins, Medical Director, of Dartmouth Health oversees the children’s medical care. A diverse group of medical specialists in Manchester, Boston and at Dartmouth Health in Lebanon also provide specialty care, either on-site through Telehealth or at their facility.
